Nothin but WPF

As you may have read on Boodhoo's blog -- in addition to Nothin but .NET bootcamp, he's introducing several new topics including Nothin but WPF, which I am teaching.

The first Nothin but WPF will be March 24th - 28th in midtown NYC. This class is completely focused on WPF and XAML and will include DataBinding, Styles and Resources, Custom Controls and plenty of other topics to keep us busy :)

You can register for the class here

Go here to see the current Boodhoo training schedule for 2008 -- he'll be adding more classes and an rss feed so check back for updates.

Wendy,

I am a school psychologist who has been taking computer classes the past few years. I know a little C#, so I'm experimenting with WFP.

I worked on a prototype similar to Ript about a year ago for one of my classes. Right now, I'm adapting it for use with the students with special needs that I work with. Some of them have severe autism or related communication disorders.

Here is a link to the YouTube video of the very first version of the prototype: Poetry Picture Share

I would like to incorporate "adaptable" TTS capability to my program, so the child can click, mouse-over, or focus on individual words to hear them spoken.

It looks like you are a busy person, so when you have the time, please point me in the right direction. I have Expression Blend 2- December version in addition to Visual Studion 2008, if that helps.
